1. Who we are

This website is operated by Global Marine Supply OÜ (GMS), registry code 11152291, an international wholesale and distribution company in fast moving consumer goods, registered and operating in Estonia. Our registered address is Tiigi tn. 14/Kesk tee 9a, Jüri alevik, 75301 Rae vald, Harjumaa, Estonia.

2. What data we collect

We only collect what you send us and what the server needs to serve the page:

  • Contact form data — your name, email address, selected subject (market) and the text of your message. The form does not create an account and is not used for marketing.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and requested pages may appear in server logs for security and diagnostics.

This website is a business-to-business site. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we ask you not to send special categories of data (for example health data) through the contact form.

3. Why we process your data

We use your data to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if we start working together, to perform the contract. The legal bases are:

  • Steps prior to entering a contract / performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — when you ask for an offer or become a client.
  • Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — answering business enquiries and keeping the website secure.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — where accounting or customs law requires us to keep records.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless a contract is concluded. Contract and accounting records are kept for the period required by Estonian law (currently up to 7 years). Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data may be processed by providers that help us run the website and the business, acting on our instructions: the hosting provider (servers in the EU), the email service and IT support. We share data with authorities only where the law requires it.

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Cookies and third-party media

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not ask you to create an account. The home page plays a background video served from our own server, not from YouTube or another video platform; it does not set third-party cookies or transfer data to video platforms.

The site may store your language choice (EN/ET) locally so that the correct version opens next time. If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
